When you thought I wasn’t looking
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you do the chores and I learnt that you care and share love by being responsible.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you taking care of the baby and I felt that when I was a baby you cared for me too.
When you thought I wasn’t looking,I saw you cooking food and I learnt how to feed the family.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you doing your work and I felt your doing a great job saving money for the family.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you playing on your phone and I learnt that everyone takes breaks.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I heard you praying and I felt that God cares for all of us.
When you thought I wasn’t looking,I heard you singing beautifully to my brothers and I felt peaceful.
When you thought I wasn’t looking,I saw you kiss me goodnight and I felt Joyful.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you giving treats to the neighbors and I learnt that sharing is caring.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I looked at you and wanted to say ”Thanks for all the things I saw...when you thought I wasn’t looking”.
